A helping hand: clinic to support worthwhile cause.
2nd April 2011
My old school – St Aloysius’s College in Glasgow – runs a charity called St Aloysius Children’s Fund.
It serves to help underprivileged and disabled children in the West of Scotland.
As well as organising outings and parties, the charity also organises much-needed holidays for the children.
In senior school I went on one of the trips as a carer to support the children and the trip organisers and I found the experience enormously rewarding and helpful in my personal development.
As part of the ongoing support for this worthwhile charity, the clinic is supporting two children to take advantage of the holidays the group organises.
