Free time away from clinic – a rare but important treat
6th March 2013
Dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and the art of a smile makeover took a back seat at the weekend when I headed to London with a VIP – a very important passenger…my son!
It was time to deliver on a long standing promise to take Arnold who’s four on his next birthday to the capital for a whistle stop tour.
To say he was excited is perhaps an understatement and he’d been particularly looking forward to our selected mode of transport for the trip south – on the overnight sleeper.
So after closing up the Glasgow dental clinic on Friday evening it was home for dinner with all the family before a late night trip to Central Station to join the train to London.
Our boys’ weekend was a real treat…with me being able to spend quality time with him and show him a small selection of the sights of London. The city is a big deal for us adults so it was key to ensure that the sights we planned and the activities we wanted to do together were all manageable.
The result? A great success of a trip and he’s been talking about it a lot since.
Roll on the next trip – wonder where he’ll select as the next destination?
